How to Play
Wordle tells you if you solved it. League of Words tells you how well you played — speed, efficiency, and difficulty all feed into a real score.
A new 5-letter word drops every day at midnight. Everyone plays the same puzzle — your score reflects exactly how well you played it.
Guess the Word
You have 6 guesses to find the secret 5-letter word. The board starts blank — every guess reveals new information. Use what you learn to close in on the answer.
Submit a Valid Guess
Type any five letters and hit Enter. Only real dictionary words are accepted. If your guess isn't in the dictionary, the board shakes and the attempt doesn't count — but it costs you 10 points, so guess carefully.
Read the Colors
After each guess, the tiles flip to reveal three possible states. Green means right letter, right position. Yellow means right letter, wrong position. Gray means that letter isn't in the word at all. Use each flip to eliminate possibilities.
Your Score
Score breaks into three parts: Efficiency — 90 points per unused guess, up to 540. Speed — linear decay from 360 to 0 over 15 minutes. Hard Mode bonus — a flat +100 if you solve it with all hints applied. Invalid guesses subtract 10 each. A perfect game is 1,000 points.
Hard Mode
Toggle Hard Mode before your first guess. Every revealed hint must be used in all subsequent guesses. Solve with all hints applied and earn a +100 point bonus. It raises the floor — no ignoring yellows to fish for letters.
